Driven by a passion for electronics, robotics, and emerging technologies, Alsan Parajuli founded Neura Innovation Pvt. Ltd. with the vision of creating practical technology solutions designed and built in Nepal. His enterprise focuses on developing customised products that integrate artificial intelligence, robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), and industrial automation to address challenges across agriculture, education, and industry.
Today, Neura Innovation designs and manufactures customised IoT-enabled devices, smart automation systems, and AI-powered technologies while continuously investing in research and product development. The company has grown into a team of four professionals committed to building innovative solutions that improve productivity and encourage technological advancement in Nepal.
The Nabil SSE Journey
Although Alsan possessed strong technical expertise, he recognised the importance of strengthening his entrepreneurial and business management capabilities to transform innovation into a sustainable enterprise. Participation in the Nabil SSE Certificate Course provided practical exposure to business planning, enterprise management, marketing, and strategic thinking. Through interactive learning sessions, work-table exercises, and mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs, he developed greater confidence in commercializing innovative technologies while aligning technical innovation with market demand.
The programme reinforced his vision of building a technology company capable of developing locally relevant solutions with long-term commercial and social impact.
Innovating for Agriculture, Education and Industry
Neura Innovation continues to develop technologies that address practical challenges through innovation. Among its latest innovations is a Smart Soil Testing Device capable of analysing Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), and Potassium (K) levels in soil, enabling farmers to make informed decisions regarding soil health and fertilizer management. The technology has already been introduced at a model agricultural farm in Gauradaha, demonstrating how locally developed innovation can contribute to smarter and more productive farming.
The company has also developed an AI-powered interactive information system for the Everest Science Center, Nepal, allowing students and visitors to receive automated responses while creating a more engaging science learning experience. At the same time, Neura Innovation is actively researching and developing next-generation robots capable of operating in both online and offline environments.
Inspiring the Next Generation of Innovators
Beyond product development, Alsan believes innovation should be shared. Through practical robotics, IoT, and STEM education programmes, Neura Innovation has reached more than 10 schools, introducing students to electronics, programming, robotics, and innovation through hands-on learning experiences. By combining technology education with entrepreneurship, the company is helping young people develop problem-solving skills while encouraging them to pursue careers in science, engineering, and innovation.
As the enterprise continues to grow, Alsan aims to expand research and development, strengthen customised automation solutions for industry, and position Nepal as a contributor to the rapidly evolving fields of robotics and artificial intelligence.
